“I first started seeing Dr. Du back in 2019 after an ankle injury, and he helped me recover faster than I expected. Since then, he’s been my go-to for just about everything — back pain, wrist issues, anxiety, and a host of other things over the years. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and has an amazing bedside manner. He always takes the time to explain what he’s doing and makes sure I’m comfortable throughout the process.”

CLIENT HUB

Your Resources for Holistic Care

Welcome to the Client Hub! This space is designed to make your care simple, organized, and stress-free. Whether you are preparing for your first appointment or scheduling a follow-up, you will find all the essential resources you need for our Delray Beach and Sunrise locations here.

New Patient Preparation

Before your first visit, please call the office (Delray or Sunrise) to complete a brief patient intake questionnaire over the phone. This helps Dr. Du prepare your personalized care plan.

FAQ: First Visit Preparation

  • Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute experience that includes a full health intake and your initial acupuncture treatment. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow easy access to acupuncture points during the session. We recommend avoiding heavy meals or excessive caffeine in the hour before your visit, though it is best not to arrive on a completely empty stomach.

  • Dr. Du is a self-pay, out-of-network provider and does not accept any insurance.

Ongoing Care & Convenience

Follow-Up Scheduling: To schedule your next session, please call the office you wish to visit directly.

Herbal Refills: To request a refill of your custom-compounded formula, please call our office 48 hours in advance.

FAQ: Ongoing Care & Policies

  • Acupuncture is most effective as an ongoing wellness practice. During an active treatment period, we typically recommend two sessions per week, or at least once a week, to maintain momentum and achieve the best results. Once your condition stabilizes, we will transition you to a maintenance schedule to support your long-term health.

  • Your body continues to recalibrate after treatment, so we recommend taking it easy for the remainder of the day. Even after a successful course of treatment, you should still pay close attention to your body's signals. Please avoid aggressive sports, heavy lifting, or long, strenuous outdoor events immediately following your sessions to allow the healing process to settle. Rest and hydration are highly recommended.

  • We require 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment so that we can offer the time slot to another patient in need of care. Please note that appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee.
